5th Annual Conference

The Carolina Women in Timber celebrated their 5th Annual 2024 Conference at the Clinton House Plantation in Clinton, SC on October 9, 2024. This was an all day event celebrating 5 years as an organization! The meeting was dedicated in loving memory of Susan Swanson, Executive Director of AHUG in Kane, Pennsylvania.

49 women were in attendance including 11 special guests. This was our highest attendance to date!

Butch Green of Foothills Forest Products hosted the 2024 Conference by touring the CWIT members on a logging job where we were able to see the crew in action! Butch Green, Travis Green, Cole Eison, and Bill Hester shared their knowledge of the industry, and allowed us to witness the hard work that goes into a logging job. A special thank you to Jerry Knight of Manulife for donating all the pink safety vests in representation of Breast Cancer Awareness!
